As always, they exchanged birthday wishes publicly on social media. Catherine posted a nostalgic photo from 25 years ago, back when they were newlyweds. The picture, taken in New York, shows them celebrating one of their first birthdays together.
“In my birthday suit! Over 25 years of joint birthday celebrations, I’m running out of gift ideas for my husband! This is gift option number two—the first one was golf balls, of course,” she humorously wrote in the caption. She mentioned that on September 25, 1999, they were already celebrating their birthdays together—Catherine turning 30 and Michael 55.
