Christopher Schwarzenegger has celebrated his 29th birthday, and his mother Maria Shriver used the occasion to share a particularly personal tribute. She posted several rarely seen photos with her youngest son, offering followers glimpses from both his childhood and their more recent time together.
One especially touching black-and-white picture dates back to Christopher’s childhood and shows mother and son cuddling closely. Other snapshots capture the pair years later in very different settings, including in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, at a University of Michigan football game and aboard a boat.
Alongside the family album, Maria wrote warmly about Christopher’s personality, highlighting his loving nature, humor and wisdom. “God blessed me when he made me your mother, and you enrich the life of every person you meet,” she wrote.
Maria admitted that Christopher will always be her baby, regardless of his age. At the same time, she said she now finds herself looking up to him and admiring the way he moves through life.

She particularly praised his ability to make other people feel good and his tendency to search for something positive in everyone. Her birthday message ended on an emotional note: “Have a wonderful birthday! Know that you are loved, and I love you! Love, Mommy.”

Christopher is the youngest of the four children Maria shares with her former husband, Arnold Schwarzenegger, 79. His siblings are Katherine, Christina and 33-year-old Patrick Schwarzenegger.
Unlike his famous parents and siblings Katherine and Patrick, however, Christopher has largely chosen to stay away from public attention. That makes Maria’s collection of personal family photos a relatively rare glimpse into the life of the youngest Schwarzenegger sibling.
