A cellphone video reportedly recorded by Presley Gerber himself has become a key focus following the loss of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber’s 27-year-old son. The shaky footage was filmed at around 10 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026, while Presley was staying at Resolutions Living, a sober living facility in Santa Monica.
The recording captures Presley moving through a bedroom and other parts of the facility. No other people can be seen in the footage. The following morning, September 20, the model was found unresponsive at the property. His exact cause of death has not yet been conclusively determined.
Earlier that Saturday afternoon, Presley had reportedly used drugs before contacting his sober coach because he feared he was losing control. His condition was allegedly disclosed when accommodation was being arranged, yet his admission to the facility was apparently still approved.
After arriving, Presley is said to have continued using drugs. It remains unclear what substances were involved or whether they played a role in his death. The employee responsible for handling his admission has reportedly since been dismissed.
Presley was actually expected to begin rehabilitation treatment on Monday. His sober coach was therefore looking only for somewhere he could stay over the weekend and reportedly left him at Resolutions Living. Presley never reached the planned start of treatment.
Questions are now focusing heavily on what happened during those final hours and on the circumstances surrounding his admission. Resolutions Living has not issued a statement.
Presley was the eldest child of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber. He was also the older brother of 25-year-old model Kaia Gerber.
