This is an interesting story about how a designer, Olga, managed to completely change a 29-square-meter apartment in an old building in Moscow by redesigning the space.
General Plan:
The old walls inside the apartment were taken down, and new partitions were put in their place.
The kitchen was made part of the main living area but was separated with a glass wall with black frames because gas appliances were installed.
Living Room:
The walls were painted white and decorated in a way that made the room feel bigger. A cozy sitting area with a soft rug was arranged by the window. A gray sofa was placed there, which also works as a bed. Shelves and small decorations gave the room a stylish look. A work corner and a TV were set up across from the sofa.
Bedroom:
The sleeping area was placed in a small alcove. The walls were painted in natural light tones, with a green section to visually divide the space. Modern lamps were hung above the bed.
Kitchen:
The kitchen cabinets are arranged in a U-shape. There is a bar counter near the window, which can be used as a work or dining area. A green partition separates the dining spot, with chairs and a stylish chandelier above. Open shelves and contrasting tiles made the kitchen feel lively and fresh.
Hallway:
The hallway was divided from the rest of the apartment with glass blocks, allowing light to pass through. A practical storage system for clothes and accessories was installed, with wooden details adding warmth to the space.
Bathroom:
The bathroom was designed with a shower cabin. The walls were finished in gray tiles that created a contrast but still matched the rest of the interior. There were storage cupboards and extra shelves for convenience.
