Today, we want to tell you about a small kitchen renovation, where the person in charge of the project decided to use laminate on the walls instead of the usual tiles.
To separate the kitchen into different areas, a plasterboard niche was built, and the kitchen furniture was placed inside it. Small holes were made in the top part of the niche to install spotlights, which give extra light to the work area.
At first, the owner planned to cover the walls with tiles, but later changed their mind and chose laminate instead. This choice helped create a kitchen with a fresh and unique look.
To save space, the microwave and oven were placed on top of each other. Instead of upper cupboards, open shelves were hung. Dishes and other kitchen items will be stored there.
The kitchen furniture and laminate floor were matched in the same color, while the light table and white wall added contrast to the room.
Laminate was also placed on the wall by the dining area. Two stylish lamps were added above the table to brighten up this corner.
After the renovation, the kitchen turned out neat, modern, and comfortable. Laminate on the walls became the main feature that made the interior stand out.
Although there are some doubts about using laminate in the kitchen, the owner is happy with the result and thinks it can be a good replacement for tiles and other common materials.

We believe that using laminate near the cooking area is especially risky. Perhaps decorative plaster or regular tiles would have been a safer choice.
