To create this decorative flower, you’ll need two bottle tops from milk bottles, a cocktail straw, wire, green tape or adhesive tape, glue, and dark nail polish.

Start by cutting the tops of the bottles about three to four centimeters from the edge. Make vertical cuts on the smaller piece, dividing it into six shallow sections, while the larger one should have twelve deeper sections cut up to the neck.

Trim the ends of each strip to give them a petal shape. Bend the petals outward on the smaller piece and fold the larger petals inward to form a flower shape.

Assemble the flower by gluing both pieces together and securing the base with extra glue for durability.

To create the pistil, cut the cocktail straw and make small slits on one end to form tiny branches. On the other end, make notches to help with gluing.

Make two small holes in the bottle cap and thread the wire through to form a sturdy stem. Wrap the wire with green tape or ribbon to give it a more natural look.
