This apartment didn’t make the best first impression when the new owners moved in. The lighting was dim, the wallpaper was peeling, the old parquet was worn out, and linoleum covered some areas. The kitchen wasn’t in the worst shape, but it clearly looked outdated and needed some love.

But the new owners wanted a fresh start. They took a bold step: they officially approved the remodeling plans and removed part of the wall between the kitchen and the living room. That one change opened up the space—and the full renovation made a huge difference.
