The Most Impressive 6m² Kitchen Remodel We’ve Seen—And It Didn’t Involve Breaking Walls

“From peeling wallpaper to Pinterest-worthy kitchen” 😲 One bold move — removing a single wall — turned this outdated apartment into a bright, modern space. The before-and-after photos speak for themselves. Would you try this in your own home? See the full renovation in the article below 👇

This apartment didn’t make the best first impression when the new owners moved in. The lighting was dim, the wallpaper was peeling, the old parquet was worn out, and linoleum covered some areas. The kitchen wasn’t in the worst shape, but it clearly looked outdated and needed some love.

Here’s what the kitchen looked like before the renovation:
While the interior wasn’t terrible, it also wasn’t anyone’s dream kitchen. Many people live in similar spaces for years without making any changes—and don’t complain.

But the new owners wanted a fresh start. They took a bold step: they officially approved the remodeling plans and removed part of the wall between the kitchen and the living room. That one change opened up the space—and the full renovation made a huge difference.

Take a look at what it looks like now:

Where there used to be a wall, there’s now a wide open archway with no doors. The opening is framed with wooden boards that give it a clean and finished look.

The kitchen itself is completely different: new modern cabinets, fresh paint on the walls, and new parquet flooring. The dining table was moved into the living room, which made the kitchen feel more open. In place of the table, they added a countertop that connects to the windowsill—perfect for a quick breakfast or a cup of coffee.

This renovation shows that with a little creativity and planning, even an ordinary apartment can be turned into a beautiful and functional space.
