Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about something many people can relate to — a fear of flying. The 56-year-old actress revealed her long-time struggle and how she’s learning to manage it.
“I’m terrified of flying,” she admitted in a recent interview. For years, she dealt with the fear using a set of superstitions. “I used to touch the right side of the plane with my palm before boarding, and I always stepped on with my right foot first,” she said. But now, she’s trying a different approach — one that doesn’t rely on rituals.
“I’ve been doing a bit of hypnosis lately,” Aniston explained. “One of the first things I was told was to let go of all those superstitions. So I’ve stopped doing those little ‘moves’ before flights.”
Aniston also shared that she tends to overpack for trips — something her friends don’t mind at all. “I try not to bring too much,” she said with a laugh, “but the upside is that my friends love it — they can always borrow whatever they forgot.”
Even with her fear of flying, Aniston is no stranger to travel. Back in February, she left Hollywood and headed to Montecito, reportedly in search of a new chapter in her life. Though her love life has had its ups and downs, rumors recently linked her to actor Pedro Pascal. However, neither of them has confirmed the speculation.
