This project is a true example of smart design! The designer managed to fit everything needed for daily life into just 11 square meters — including a kitchen, workspace, bedroom, and even a bathroom.
The owner had a clear dream: a compact studio where he could cook, work, and rest. At first, this seemed like a tough challenge. But thanks to some creative thinking, the designer made it happen.
Before the Makeover
At the start, the room was split into two levels because of its high 4-meter ceiling. But the upper level was placed in a way that blocked the only window, leaving the space feeling dark.
To solve that, the designer simply moved the second level further away from the window — and placed the bedroom up there.
Under the raised bedroom, there’s now a hallway, a kitchen area, a workspace, and even a bathroom.
The work desk is near the window to let in natural light, and right next to it is a compact kitchenette with everything needed for cooking.
To reach the upper level, the designer built a staircase made from a storage cabinet. Each step doubles as a drawer or storage box, making great use of the space.
Even the bathroom got special attention. Although it’s only 1.4 square meters, it fits a 70×70 cm shower, a small sink with a cabinet, and a toilet placed at an angle to save room.
This tiny home shows that even the smallest rooms can become cozy, stylish, and practical. With thoughtful design, smart storage, and creative solutions, it’s possible to live well — even in just 11 square meters.
