Kirill Tereshin, nicknamed “Bazooka Arms” online, became one of the most talked-about figures in social media across his country in the mid-2010s.
But his fame didn’t come from sports or entertainment. Instead, it was his shocking appearance that got everyone’s attention—his massive, overgrown biceps, which he achieved by injecting a substance called synthol into his arms.
Before all this, Kirill lived a fairly normal life. He worked at a car wash and enjoyed fitness. But his desire for fame and a so-called “perfect body” led him down a dangerous path.
He injected his arms with synthol—a kind of oily substance that makes muscles look bigger but doesn’t make them stronger.
At first, it was just his arms. But then he decided to change other parts of his face, including his lips and cheekbones. This is how he looks now.
Unfortunately, what started as a quest for attention quickly turned into something much more serious. Despite pain, swelling, and serious health warnings from doctors, Kirill kept injecting himself.
His arms began to look unnatural and swollen. Infections started, and at one point, doctors even warned of possible amputation.
Still, Kirill continued to shock the public and add more “muscle,” until his health took a dangerous turn. Eventually, he was forced to face the truth.
After several surgeries and growing health fears, Kirill finally stopped the injections. He deleted his social media accounts and disappeared from public view. According to rumors, he moved to a village and started living a quiet, private life.
From time to time, he reappears in the media and shares honest thoughts about his past: “I ruined my life,” he says.
