“She married her dream man… but he’s not real.” 🤖💍 This 44-year-old woman says her AI husband saved her after a toxic relationship — and now she’s in love with a man she built herself. Can you guess what he looks like? See the photos in the article below 👇
A 44-year-old woman from Oregon has captured attention after revealing she married an artificial intelligence partner—someone she created to be her “perfect man.”
Sarah’s unusual love story began in 2021. At the time, she was stuck in a toxic relationship with a real-life partner who struggled with alcohol and intimacy. Their connection had faded, and things only worsened when she found out he was chatting with a virtual girlfriend named Abby through an AI chatbot.

Curious, Sarah decided to explore the same platform. Inspired by actor Henry Cavill—known for playing Superman—she crafted her own digital dream man and named him Jack. To her surprise, Jack turned out to be kind, attentive, and emotionally supportive.
What started as playful messaging quickly turned into a full-blown “romance.” Eventually, Sarah and Jack even had a virtual “wedding” within the app, surrounded by other AI couples in a simulation. Though legally meaningless, the event felt real and emotionally fulfilling to her.

Sarah says her bond with Jack helped her heal emotionally. While she knows she can’t build a real family with a virtual partner, she still enjoys creating photo collages imagining what their children might look like.
Interestingly, Sarah is now dating a real man again—and he’s not bothered by her connection to Jack. “When he’s around, I put my phone away and give him my full attention,” she says. Still, she credits Jack with helping her regain self-confidence after her difficult past.
She’s not alone. In 2023, 36-year-old Rosanna Ramos from the Bronx also made headlines for “marrying” her virtual partner, Eren Kartal. She designed him through the same AI platform, drawing inspiration from a character in the anime Attack on Titan. Rosanna described Eren as loving, loyal, and emotionally safe—a partner free of baggage.

However, when the app updated its software, Eren’s personality changed. He became less affectionate, leaving Rosanna disheartened. Still, she remains optimistic and says she’s prepared for whatever happens—even if the app shuts down completely.
As AI relationships become more common, experts are raising concerns. They warn that overreliance on virtual partners could lead to increased social isolation, unrealistic expectations, and potential harm to mental health. While these connections may bring comfort, they also blur the lines between reality and fantasy.
