Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was recently turned away from a Chanel store in Istanbul, Turkey. According to Turkey Today, the unexpected incident happened when Lopez tried to enter the boutique she had previously reserved a visit for.
As she arrived, a security guard at the door reportedly didn’t recognize her and told her the store was “full” and that she couldn’t come in. Lopez calmly replied that it was “not a problem” and walked away without making a scene.
Shortly after, a staff member from Chanel approached her and invited her inside, but by then, the star declined the offer.
Just days earlier, on July 29, reports surfaced from Telegram channel Mash claiming that Lopez was in talks to perform in Russia. However, she allegedly backed out due to fears of backlash from Western audiences.
In response, Eduard Ratnikov, head of the concert agency TCI and former organizer of her shows in the country, told TASS that the singer was never planning a tour in Russia. He explained that due to current Western sanctions, such performances are not possible, and therefore, no discussions had taken place.
Recently, the 56-year-old artist also made headlines by posting bold photos of herself in a sheer dress and bikini, continuing to make waves both on and off the stage.
