The 77th Emmy Award recipients were unveiled by the Television Academy on August 12, covering categories ranging from Animation and Costumes to New Media Programs and Motion Design. These specialized awards are revealed a month ahead of the main ceremony, as they are decided by a panel of judges rather than through general voting — meaning big celebrity names don’t often appear among the honorees.

At this year’s Emmys, Beyoncé was recognized with the award for Outstanding Costumes in a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program for the glamorous attire seen in her Netflix holiday feature Beyonce Bowl. SThe recognition was shared with Shiona Turini, who led the costume design, as well as assistants Erica Rice and Molly Peters, and supervisor Chelsea Stabell, and head tailor Timothy White, each applauded for their role in crafting the show’s unforgettable style.

The main Emmy ceremony will be broadcast on September 14 on CBS and Paramount+.
