“$300 million and a million alpacas… and he still might return?” 🏴☠️🔥 Jerry Bruckheimer just hinted at Johnny Depp’s possible comeback as Captain Jack Sparrow — and fans can’t stop buzzing. See the details in the article below 👇📸
While discussing the much-loved Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently revealed his vision for what’s ahead and which actors he hopes to bring back. Among them, he mentioned Johnny Depp, saying he believes the star could once again step into the boots of his legendary character, Captain Jack Sparrow.

“If the role is written to his liking, I believe he’ll say yes,” said the 81-year-old producer. “It all depends on the script, as we all know.”
Amid his high-profile breakup with Amber, Depp was dropped from several major projects, including roles in ‘Fantastic Beasts’, ‘The Great’, and the sixth ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ film. During his 2022 court trial, the actor famously stated he wouldn’t reprise Jack Sparrow “for $300 million and a million alpacas.”

The most recent Pirates movie hit theaters in 2017. According to Bruckheimer, the upcoming project will serve as a reboot of the franchise — and while it’s unclear if Depp will be back in a leading role, the producer admitted he would love to see Jack Sparrow make at least a cameo appearance.
