“Remember him without tattoos? Neither does he” 😳🔥 A Melbourne artist revealed rare photos before covering 80% of his body in ink — and the transformation is unreal. See the images sparking debate in the article below 👇📸
30-year-old tattoo artist Tay Ashby from Melbourne shocked the internet by sharing rare photos of himself before he covered nearly 80% of his body in tattoos.

Tay began tattooing at 16 after convincing his father to let him get his first piece. Ironically, his dad hoped the experience would put him off tattoos forever. Instead, it sparked a lifelong passion that has now become his career.
Today, Tay works at Dead Mind Tattoos in Melbourne, helping others express themselves through body art. Looking back at old photos, he admits he no longer recognizes himself without ink. “I only feel truly confident with my tattoos,” he confessed.

Of course, his extreme look hasn’t come without challenges. Tay revealed the most painful tattoos were on his face — reaching up to his nostrils — and another in an even more intimate place.

He also admitted that public reactions can be harsh, ranging from disgust to admiration. “Children often point and yell, and I can imagine how awkward that must be for their parents,” he shared.

Despite criticism, Tay has no regrets. For him, tattoos are not just decoration but a core part of his identity.
