Why Didn’t I Know This Before? How I Solved Shoe Chafing in Just 1 Minute

“Shoes hurting again?” 👠🔥 I solved painful chafing in just ONE minute—with something hiding in my makeup bag. No gels, no band-aids… and it worked better than anything else. Curious? See the trick in the article below 👇

I never realized it could be this easy, but in just one minute I found a simple solution to stop my shoes from rubbing—and I want to share it with you.

We’ve all been there: shoes that look perfect and even feel comfortable at first suddenly start causing painful friction. Normally, I rely on anti-chafing sticks, special gels, or even medical tape instead of band-aids, since they hold up better.

But this time was different. I was wearing my favorite sandals, which had always felt fine before, so I didn’t bother with any extra protection. Unfortunately, the weather was hot that day, and as my feet began to swell, I could feel the straps pressing against my skin. I knew it was only a matter of time before blisters formed.

I wasn’t anywhere near a pharmacy, so grabbing a plaster wasn’t an option. I also didn’t have baby powder, baking soda, or even a lip balm—common “emergency hacks” people often recommend.

What I did have, though, was my loose face powder. I always carry it in a small case with a brush because it fits perfectly in my mini handbag. So, I tried dusting a little onto the irritated areas and gently rubbing it in. To my surprise, it worked! The powder reduced the friction, and I made it through the entire event without a single blister.

Sometimes the simplest solutions are right in front of us. Most of us carry some form of powder in our makeup bag, and it can be a real lifesaver when your shoes start to rub.
