Mel Gibson has found himself at the center of intense online attention after paparazzi captured the 70-year-old Hollywood star sharing passionate moments with Italian actress and model Antonella Salvucci during a romantic evening in Rome.
The actor was photographed kissing the 44-year-old beauty openly in public as the pair wandered through the streets of the Italian capital looking unusually close and affectionate.
Throughout the evening, the two appeared completely wrapped up in each other — holding one another around the waist, exchanging intimate glances, and walking through Rome with what many described online as “straight out of a movie” chemistry.

However, the situation may not be as clear as it appears. Sources close to the actor insist Gibson is currently single and claim the affectionate scenes may have simply captured an emotional goodbye between close friends rather than the beginning of a serious relationship.
