Jane Fonda, 88, Appears With Son Fans Call “His Father’s Exact Copy” At Hollywood Gala

Jane Fonda once again became one of the most talked-about stars on the red carpet after stepping out at the TCM Classic Film Festival opening gala in Los Angeles on April 30.

The 88-year-old actress arrived with her son, actor Troy Garity, and it didn’t take long for social media to explode with reactions. Many fans were stunned by how closely Troy resembles his late father, activist Tom Hayden.

Fonda chose a bold violet outfit featuring a structured blazer, silky blouse and elegant wide-leg trousers. A chunky gold necklace completed the dramatic look, while Troy kept things classic in a fitted black sweater and dark trousers.

Even with his understated style, Troy quickly became the center of attention online. Comment sections filled with people pointing out that he looks almost identical to his father, with some calling him “Tom Hayden’s twin.”

Others admitted they rarely see Troy in public anymore and were surprised by how handsome he looked during the rare appearance beside his famous mother.

Despite staying away from constant celebrity headlines, Troy has built a solid acting career over the years with roles in “Barbershop,” “Ballers,” “Gangster Squad” and “Sunshine.” He also earned award nominations for his performance in “Soldier’s Girl.”

The appearance also reminded fans of Jane Fonda’s legendary love life, including her marriages to Roger Vadim, Tom Hayden and Ted Turner.

Still, during this latest gala, one thing overshadowed everything else online — people could not stop talking about how much her son looks exactly like his father.
