Salma Hayek surprised her followers by sharing a tender family moment while announcing an exciting new addition to the clan. The 59-year-old actress revealed that her stepson, François Pinault Jr., has entered a new chapter of his life after becoming a father for the very first time.
François welcomed a son with his wife, German countess and model Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck. Continuing a family tradition, the couple chose François as their baby boy’s name. They had managed to keep the pregnancy entirely out of the spotlight and remained quiet about the arrival for another month before finally making the joyful news public.

Hayek celebrated the arrival by posting a rare family picture. In the relaxed shot, she cradles the newborn in her arms while wearing a robe, with no makeup and her hair left completely unstyled.

The actress was clearly delighted about the newest addition. “We now have a fourth generation of François. Although I’m going to call him Panchito. He seems to like it. And I couldn’t love him more,” Hayek wrote.
With the birth of the little boy, the Pinault family has welcomed a new generation, while Hayek now finds herself embracing a meaningful new place within the expanding family circle.

Hayek and François-Henri Pinault exchanged vows in Paris in 2009, two years after becoming parents to their daughter, Valentina Paloma. Now 18, Valentina continues to share a close bond with her mother. Hayek recently offered a rare glimpse of their relationship by posting a sweet moment of the pair enjoying a dance together during a concert.
