A Cat Named Carlton Just Walked Near the University and Reached the Candidate for the Board of Directors. That’s a Serious Thing

Does anyone doubt that cats are the future rulers of the world? Oh yes, they are slowly taking power back into their paws. Here’s another piece of evidence. A cat named Carlton is seriously moving towards getting one of the positions on the Board of Directors of the Canadian University of St. Mary’s in Halifax. Before that he just walked near the building of the educational institution and unofficially became a therapy cat. Like all the cats he loved lots of attention and he always walked with such a way as if he was the director of the entire university. And he was so fond of the students and employees of the university that he was nominated for the membership in the Council. Moreover, according to all the rules he had his own poster with his cute little muzzle and his own slogan: “If I fits on the Board, I sits on the Board.” Well, how can you not vote for such a cutie ?!

A Reddit user under the nickname Ynaffit96 posted a photo of Carlton’s campaign poster calling to vote for him in his fight for a position on the Board of Directors of St. Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada.

Considering the fact that cats had already been mayors and librarians there is no doubt that Carlton couldn’t successfully serve on the University’s Board of Directors.

He is known to enjoy visiting the library which is a good indicator to success.

Of course, it would be wise to familiarize yourself with his face expressions first: is he in favor or against the legalization of catnip? How does he feel about therapy animals who live on campus? Does he support the idea of the equal opportunity for both male and female cats?

What’s surprising the netizens are started to share with the happy comments!

What a great time to be alive. Cats aren’t even trying to hide their world domination plans anymore.

Well, he’s got my vote.

I have full confidence that Carlton can deliver on this campaign promise.

They should welcome him in though the door. Then immediately ask him to leave. Then welcome him in again. Then ask him to leave again.
