Her hair fell in soft waves, giving the otherwise luxurious styling a playful edge. George appeared equally captivated as the couple made their way to Ristorante Da Ivo, a place carrying plenty of personal history for them.
George celebrated his bachelor party there in 2014, and the restaurant has remained one of the couple’s favorite spots in the city. Their latest dinner also came shortly before another important date in their relationship.
George and Amal will soon celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. They married in September 2014 at the Aman Venice hotel, and George has continued to speak warmly about the city, describing his wedding to Amal as one of his most treasured experiences there.
The trip also marked a major professional milestone for George. The actor received the Golden Lion for lifetime achievement and said he wanted to celebrate the honor with an enjoyable dinner alongside Amal — who certainly made sure their night out wouldn’t go unnoticed.
