Amal Clooney knows exactly how to make an unforgettable entrance, and her latest appearance in London was no exception. The glamorous human rights lawyer accompanied her husband, Hollywood superstar George Clooney, to a prestigious awards ceremony, but it was her breathtaking golden dress that immediately commanded attention.
The couple attended the fifth annual Albie Awards on Friday evening at London’s Natural History Museum. The event was organized by the Clooney Foundation for Justice, the human rights organization established by George and Amal.

For the special occasion, Amal chose a spectacular floor-length Gucci gown covered in shimmering gold sequins. The off-the-shoulder design revealed her shoulders and collarbones, while the close-fitting silhouette beautifully emphasized her slender figure.

But the most eye-catching feature was the dramatic fringe cascading from her hips all the way to the hem. As Amal moved, the long golden strands swayed around her legs, giving the dress an almost hypnotic effect and adding a playful touch to its otherwise sophisticated design.

The 48-year-old completed her glamorous appearance with long gold earrings, metallic heels and a small embellished clutch. Her glossy brunette hair fell in soft, loose waves around her shoulders, while her elegant makeup complemented the warm golden tones of her outfit.

George, meanwhile, opted for a more traditional red-carpet appearance. The actor looked distinguished in a classic black Gucci tuxedo, white shirt and bow tie, allowing his wife’s dazzling ensemble to remain the center of attention.

Amal’s choice also placed her ahead of one of fashion’s emerging trends. Fringe detailing featured prominently in the spring-summer 2027 collections presented at New York Fashion Week, with designers including Kallmeyer, Simkhai, TWP and Monse incorporating the decorative element into dresses, knitwear, tops and accessories.
Beyond the glamorous outfits, the evening celebrated individuals and organizations working to defend human rights. This year’s honorees included photojournalist Lynsey Addario, girls’ rights advocate Vanessa Mwangala, and journalists Bolot Temirov and Makhabat Tazhibek kyzy. Gucci was among the sponsors of the ceremony.
