Fuscaldo did not plan to keep Rocket forever. But Rocket decided itself that it didn’t really want to go back into the wild. Already vaccinated and well-fed the young raccoon was released from the house, but it never went far beyond Katie’s yard.

Rocket has become friends with Katie’s dogs and it literally considers them her team for active games. The raccoon still enters the house, it sometimes even sleeps with its adoptive mom.

She admits that before meeting her pet, she did not even think that raccoons could be so affectionate, quick-witted and cute. The young woman open an Instagram account dedicated to Rocket. Now there are more than ten thousand subscribers, who probably also began to look at raccoons differently.
