An American Lewis Jimenez spent about twenty years in prison. This experience pushed him to try to start a new life. The man faced many difficulties, but he could somehow cope with them ; the society treated him with preconception.

So, an unusual idea came up to his mind. He decided to have not an ordinary, but a four-legged mate. Mr. Jimenez chose Titus. It was an eight-month-old pit bull. Lewis said that Titus and he have a similar fate, because pit bulls are also often considered overly aggressive and virulent, although this is not true at all.

The first ten months of their friendship were not easy. The man had problems with money; there were even days times when the dog and its owner spent the night in the car.

Some time passed and the man figured out the difficulties and rented an apartment for him and his friend. However, everything was not so easy here either. Lewis’s neighbor hated his dog so much that he was forced to walk with the dog only at night.

One day a man deviated from this rule and allowed his ten-year-old grandson to walk with Titus. It is not clearly known what actually happened, but the neighbor assures that the dog rushed at the child and bit his finger. In order not to bring the matter to court, Lewis gave his dog to an orphanage with a pain in his heart.

However, Jimenez had no intention to abandon his beloved friend. He made every effort to move and, as soon as he packed all his things for moving to a new place went to fetch his lovely dog. Titus was happy to be reunited. As Lewis tells, now he constantly looks at him, as if he does not believe that they are there again.
