The peasants from the Indian hinterland have a big problem – monkeys. They are too arrogant and they are able to thoroughly devastate fields before people have time to harvest. And it would not be so bad if they just ate a corn, but they also spoil half of it! But this season, things turned out differently – one of the residents of the village of Naluru said that he knows a way to deal with these naughty creatures.

Shrikanta Govda stayed with relatives in another state in summer, where he was shown the local “tiger”, which was left in the field instead of the usual stuffed animal. The monkeys are not afraid of that, but they prefer to bypass the strange “tiger”. When Govda returned home he immediately made a striped thing that looked like a tiger from a bag and sticked a striped thing on it. To his joy, he saw that the trick worked – the monkeys laughed at the craft, but did not appear on the field.

It should be noted that Govda is not the only person in India who are trying to protect the fields in similar ways. Someone puts a poster with a tiger, someone makes a stuffed animal, one even recorded a tiger’s roar and turned on the recording during the invasion of monkeys. Tigers in the wild feed on monkeys, so instincts work.

But Govda went even further and instead of carrying the stuffed animal back and forth, he took and painted his dog like a tiger. It turned out to be unconvincing, but the dog received the command to run freely through the fields and chase monkeys. And this time it worked for one hundred percent, the primates decided not to risk and left for other fields to be away from such a “tiger”.
