Pets are always a great joy even if they are not standard cats, shepherds, guppies or parrots. Sometimes just by chance you can become the owner of a pet who fits into the framework of ordinary domestic animals by no means. For example American Payton Dankworth from Ballinger, Texas suddenly became a mother to a baby whose name is Jack. Despite the fact that Jack is a donkey the owner and he got used to each other very quickly and now don’t leave each other a single minute!
17-year-old Payton Dankworth became the owner of a little donkey very unexpectedly.
As the girl told the Bored Panda edition she knew about the baby Jack from a friend of hers who asked the girl for help:
Jack was turned down by his mom so my friend asked me if I could help him. Jack was very weak and wasn’t doing well. So I agreed!
Jack’s first night at his new home was the hardest one for the cutie.
Fortunately, everything went well and Jack was becoming more and more healthy.
After the most dangerous moment of his life passed Jack quickly got used to a new home.
“He is very playful and loves to have fun with my dogs. Jack won’t fall asleep if one of them isn’t around. Otherwise he will cry all the night.” – tells the girl.
Jack is still young so he needs special attention and care.
Payton feeds Jack from the bottle every two hours. At the same time the girl still studies at school so she tries to manage everything:
“I come home for lunch to feed my cutie. While I’m at school he walks on the street and plays with the dogs.” – mentions Payton.
Payton already has some experience with pets so she knows what she’s doing.
Payton used to take care of the cuties and even now her family has other pets, so the girl doesn’t have problems with taking care of Jack.
Jack not only became Payton’s favorite but also inspired the owner to choose a right profession.
After Jack became healthy thanks to the kind owner’s efforts Payton decided that she wanted to continue helping the animals. Moreover 17 years is a high time to think about your future profession!
The donkey turned out to be a real gift for Payton.
According to the girl taking care of Jack and watching him plying actively is the best feeling in the world. And it’s hard to doubt this – just look at his fluffy face!
