It is impossible to refuse the doggy eyes especially if the caudate creature is in a difficult condition. American Jason Gasparik who unexpectedly met a lost labrador who was wandering on the road in Charlotte, North Carolina is now sure about this fact. Jason decided to find her owner by all means but he was running out of time. He found the dog on Friday evening and the guy had to leave town for work on Monday.
Jason used an old-fashioned but effective way in order to get the cutie home as soon as possible.
Jason left the guests alone but he was in the company of a dog on his way home.
On Friday night when Jason was driving home from his friend’s place he noticed a creature who was wandering along the road. Then the guy realized that the mysterious moving object is a dog. He rushed to catch her but the labrador was clearly not going to surrender into the hands of a stranger. Later a policeman and another caring driver joined the chase but the three of them didn’t succeed. Even the sweets didn’t help them!
After an hour of unsuccessful catch-ups Jason figured out how to outwit the dog:
“I noticed that she was running after me when I started to run, too. She was clearly in a playful mood but she was also very scared. I decided to run around the parking lot and after a couple of minutes she finally got tired and lay down. Then I grabbed her by the scruff of the neck.” – told the man.
Jason took the cutie to the vet in order to find her owner.
The dog turned out to be chipped but her number wasn’t registered so Jason couldn’t find the owner in this way.
After the failure the guy sheltered the “finding” at his home.
As a second stage of the search for the owners of the lost doggy Jason acted like any inhabitant of the 21st century – he wrote about the pet on Facebook. Although the dog was scared she still didn’t change the habits of her fellows:
“She immediately jumped onto the bed, climbed on me and began to lick my face. She was very happy but it was clear she was also very confused. But she clearly enjoyed being with me.” – mentioned Jason.
There was less and less time left to find the owner and so Jason decided on an old-school method.
The guy made a sheet from a metal stick and cardboard with two inscriptions:

I Found This Dog. Do You Know Her? Please Help Find Her Home!
Jason went to the place where he found the labrador along with a sign and a dog on Saturday.
Despite his doubts about this the guy stood on the street and waited and suddenly someone recognized the dog. Overcoming his embarrassment Jason even began to wave and smile at passers-by in order to attract more attention. Passers-by approached the man and asked if he needed help with food and water but the guy needed only one thing from people. He only wanted them to repost his Facebook post.
On Sunday Jason again returned to the same place and he was lucky.
A woman wrote Jason that she found a man named whose name is and he was looking for his dog a few kilometers from the place. And when the labrador girl met him she immediately recognized her owner!
The found owner said that the dog’s name is Roxy.
Ed brought all the documents he needed and they matched Roxy’s chip number. So the story ended well both for Ed and Roxy and for Jason as well because he managed to bring the lost doggy home before Monday!
