A 12-Year-Old Boy Makes Neckties for Dogs to Help Them Find a Home

Finding a new family for an animal who was abandoned by his owners is so difficult. Fortunately, there are kind people who do their best in order to help the cute animals find a home.

And they don’t wear raincoats because bow ties are in fashion nowadays!

Despite the fact that he is only young 12 years old the kind boy from New Jersey named Darius Brown decided to help our furry friends find a home as quickly as possible.

He creates stylish handmade bow ties for catties and doggies and donates his unique ties to animal shelters in order to attract the attention of the future owners.

Darius Brown told a story that has influenced his attitude towards life. At the age of 2 he was diagnosed with delayed speech, understanding and motor skills.

At the age of 8 he began to help his older sister to cut fabrics for sewing which also helped him develop fine motor skills. But his amazing talent manifested itself when he decided to use his skills and creativity to make positive changes in the world.

At the age of 11 Darius Brown founded Beaux & Paws which is a pet clothing company that specializes in unique and extraordinary stylish bow ties for humans and their furry families. It seems that the young CEO knows more about the right way of doing business than many modern entrepreneurs.

Darius sews and donates countless ties to different animal shelters and adoption centers in the US and UK. And he was supported by more than 43 thousand followers on Instagram.

He decided to support the animals after the awful and devastating consequences of Hurricane Harvey and Irma in 2017. Many homeless pets were transferred to various shelters across the country and because of the lack of adoptive parents they were often euthanized.

The kind boy was determined to help save cats and dogs and his unique accessories have transformed thousands of shelter residents into cute and elegant pets who are ready to go home at any moment.

In 2018 the former US President Barack Obama awarded Darius a letter of honor in which he thanked the young noy for his kindness and dedication.

He was featured in newspapers and on many television shows.

He has also received numerous awards for his efforts and achievements. When speaking at events Brown does his best to encourage others to do more good deeds.

Darius Brown’s sister whose name is Dazhai have recently taken up a fundraising campaign inviting people to join Darius on his pet rescue mission this summer. He set out to visit more than 5 states in order to volunteer at various shelters and adoption centers and equip them with his bow ties as well.

He motivates and inspires me every day. He is great and I will do my best to help him,” says Darius’s sister Dazhai.
