Salma Hayek Opens Up Her Family Album With a Rare Snap of Her Daughter, But Fans Are Stunned by How Different She Looks from Her Mom

Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek, who is 57 years old, recently posted a touching photo of her only daughter, Valentina. On Instagram, where she has over 28 million followers, Salma shared a sweet image from Valentina’s early years, showing her as a toddler in Salma’s arms.

In the caption, Salma wished a “Happy Mother’s Day” to all mothers, celebrating every type of mom, whether they are raising kids, loving pets, expecting a baby, or remembering those who are gone.

Valentina, now 16, is the daughter of Salma and François-Henri Pinault, CEO of the French company Kering. François-Henri also has children from past relationships: Augustin with supermodel Linda Evangelista, and Mathilde and François with designer Dorothea Leper. Salma gets along well with François-Henri’s other children.

Salma and François-Henri married in 2009 at the La Fenice opera house in Venice, a historic venue in Europe. François-Henri’s children from his first marriage attended the wedding.

On Mother’s Day 2024, Salma also posted a rare photo with her own mother, opera singer Diana Jimenez Medina.

She expressed her gratitude for being able to share moments with her mother.
