According to sources cited by the Daily Mail, the couple quietly went their separate ways in late October, a few months after the pop icon had shared numerous photos of them together on her Instagram account. “Madonna faced the same challenge with Akeem as she has with past relationships—the age gap eventually became a factor,” shared the insider. “They’re from completely different times.” Akeem is 28 years old.
