Lauren Nelson, an 11-year-old girl with a great sense of style, turned an old van into a cozy mini-home over the last two months.

It all started when Lauren saw a $650 toy model of a VW van in a magazine, and she really wanted it. She mentioned it to her mom, Amy Nelson, but her dad jumped in, saying, “That’s crazy; you can buy a real van for that price!”

Surprisingly, Lauren liked the idea of getting a real van. She decided to save her allowance and any extra money she could make.

She saved up small amounts and began looking for a van that would work for her project.

Soon, a neighbor was selling an old 20-foot van for about the same price. Although it was in bad shape, Lauren saw potential and loved it.

She decided to buy the van, even though it was a little over her budget. After negotiating, she managed to get it for $400, exactly what she had saved.

After purchasing the van, Lauren started working on fixing it up, even though she had no experience with DIY projects. She was determined to create her dream little house, even though the costs kept rising.

She had to save even more money to make improvements and ended up spending an additional $400 on furniture and home accessories.

Now, Lauren’s cozy mini-home is decorated in black, white, and gray, giving it a clean and simple look. Inside, there’s a cozy living room, a bedroom with four beds, a bathroom, a kitchen, and extra storage space.
