Abandoned and Overlooked, This Tiny 4.5m² Kitchen Was Completely Reimagined—You Won’t Believe the Result

Picture this: a tiny, neglected kitchen no one would dare touch 😨🤢 But with some bold moves and unexpected flair, it was completely flipped into a stunning space 😍🔥 You won’t believe your eyes when you see the before and after photos in the article below! 👇

At first, the room looked like this. Of course, renovations were already in progress. We had replaced the plumbing, laid new floors, and completed other smaller tasks.

This photo was taken when the wall was still connected to the bathroom. The kitchen was in very poor condition: the sink was broken, there were old metal racks for dishes, and the tiles were from the Soviet era. It was clear that the space hadn’t seen a renovation in over 50 years.

The old furniture and materials had a certain charm, but it’s hard to imagine that modern Ikea furniture would last that long. Nevertheless, the kitchen looked “worn out” due to the outdated renovation.

Another thing to mention is the strange double kitchen faucet. Also, the way the batteries were installed was odd, with one positioned above the kitchen table, making the setup look unusual.

After the renovation, the kitchen was completely transformed. It became compact, functional, and equipped with modern features. The furniture and materials now match harmoniously, giving the kitchen a fresh, appealing appearance.

The kitchen space is 4.5 square meters. While small, we managed to fit in not just the stove, but also the dishwasher and refrigerator. We found the perfect spot for the fridge.

It’s amazing how this small kitchen was turned into a comfortable, functional area that anyone would enjoy cooking in. However, there are a couple of minor details that still bother me.

The fridge has too many magnets on it, which doesn’t help the look. I’m also not a fan of the silver strip that divides the space into zones.

What do you think of the changes? Do you like how it turned out?
