Today, we’ll share the stories of three grandmothers who planned ahead for their retirement and chose to live in tiny homes on wheels.
The first woman is 72 years old. She made it clear from the start—she would never move into a nursing home. To avoid being a burden on her family and paying sky-high utility bills, she sold her house, bought a small home on wheels, and moved in!
Her tiny house has everything she needs for a comfortable life: a small kitchen with a sink, a living space, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
Her bed is on the second level, and to make it easy for her to reach, a special staircase was designed.
The second woman is 60 years old and relies on a wheelchair to get around.
To make her new home accessible, they built a ramp at the entrance. Inside, a special chairlift was installed so she can easily reach her attic bedroom, which she loves.
The third grandmother didn’t just buy a tiny house—she had a porch added to it. And on that porch, she installed a whirlpool bath! Now, all her friends come over to visit and enjoy it with her.
