Many girls dream of having long, slim legs because they’re often seen as elegant and attractive. But for some, being tall isn’t always easy—and 17-year-old Maci Currin knows this better than most.
Maci recently earned a place in the Guinness World Records as the teen and woman with the longest legs on the planet

Rather than hide her height, Maci now encourages others to embrace their natural features with pride. Her legs measure an astonishing 135 centimeters (about 4 feet 5 inches), and she stands over 2 meters tall (more than 6 feet 7 inches).
She shared that during childhood, it wasn’t her legs people teased—it was her towering height. That used to make her feel insecure, but over time, Maci came to see her uniqueness as a strength rather than a flaw.
Living with such extraordinary height does come with challenges. Shopping for clothes is a struggle, fitting through doorways can be awkward, and getting in and out of cars isn’t always smooth.
Still, there are definite advantages—she can easily reach top shelves, excels at volleyball and basketball, and has even become a sought-after model.
For Maci, it all comes down to perspective. “You just have to find the positives,” she says.
