What’s Really Causing It?
The culprit is usually low humidity. When heating systems kick on in winter, indoor air dries out fast. Even if you’re watering your plants generously, the above-ground parts of the plant can still feel “thirsty” because the air is too dry.
Here’s what you can do:
Move your plants away from heaters and radiators.
If you don’t have a humidifier, you can boost humidity by placing your plant’s pot on a tray filled with moist pebbles, moss, or expanded clay. As the water slowly evaporates, it creates a more humid microclimate around the plant — perfect for keeping it happy and healthy.
