“Imagine being so tattooed a priest tries to exorcise you on a bus” 😳🔥 That’s exactly what happened to DeeDee Villegas — and her story is as wild as her look. See the striking photos in the article below 👇📸
A 30-year-old woman from Cebu, Philippines, says she once had to undergo an exorcism after a priest was so disturbed by her heavily tattooed body that he believed she was possessed.

DeeDee Villegas explained that her journey with tattoos began as a teenager when she gave in to peer pressure and got her first small design on her neck. What started as a trend quickly became a coping mechanism during times of depression and anxiety. Later, tattoos turned into a lifelong passion and a way of self-expression.
Over the past 12 years, DeeDee has spent more than $26,000 and over 200 hours under the needle. Today, 60–70% of her body is inked, including her eye whites. She also has several piercings, including facial ones, which add to her striking look.
Her appearance, however, has caused extreme reactions. On one occasion, a priest attempted to perform an exorcism on her in a public bus, convinced her tattoos were “demonic.” Strangers have also recited Bible verses at her, claiming to protect both themselves and her.

Despite this, DeeDee says she has noticed a cultural shift in recent years. While tattoo discrimination is still a problem in the Philippines, opportunities are slowly opening up for people with unconventional looks. She believes social media has played the biggest role in changing perceptions, making it easier for modified individuals and LGBTQ+ people to find acceptance.

“People still insult me on the streets, but the difference compared to a decade ago is huge. Before, you couldn’t even get a job interview if you had visible tattoos. Now, things are finally starting to change,” she shared.

Her story highlights not only the struggles of being different in a conservative society but also the resilience it takes to embrace your true identity.
