Jennifer Lopez celebrated her victory at the Women in Entertainment Gala, appearing at the event in an outfit that combined elegance and provocation. On stage and on the red carpet, the actress and singer appeared in a voluminous brown suit: a loose jacket, straight pencil skirt, and suede pumps created a look of understated classicism. But the main accent was that Lopez completely abandoned the top and left the jacket unbuttoned, adding sexuality and audacity to the outfit.

She complemented the suit with a snake clutch and a sparkling choker. After appearing before the press, Lopez took to the stage to receive the Equity in Entertainment Award, presented to her by actress Kerry Washington.
In her speech, Lopez thanked the organizers and emphasized that the issue of equality in the industry is close to her heart: “When we talk about equal opportunities, I speak from personal experience.” She recalled how, at the beginning of her career, she faced stereotypes and attempts to “pigeonhole” her before she had a chance to prove herself.

The star admitted that even decades later, she still had to overcome resistance because she is Latina: “I had to prove that we can lead romantic comedies, thrillers, and perform on big stages.” Lopez expressed hope that each of her roles helps break down stereotypes and expand opportunities for a new generation of artists.

The actress also recalled key projects in her career, from the cult biographical drama Selena to the upcoming Marvel film Kiss of the Spider Woman, in which she plays Ingrid Luna. In closing, Lopez promised to continue fighting for visibility and space for everyone who doesn’t fit into outdated frameworks: “I will continue to move forward, represent, create, and advocate for a world where everyone has the right to take their place.”
