Celine Dion reminded everyone that her sense of humor is still perfectly intact. The 57-year-old singer, who continues to battle the rare neurological condition known as stiff person syndrome, surprised fans on Christmas Eve by sharing an unexpectedly funny video on Instagram.

In the clip, Dion fully transformed into one of the most iconic holiday characters of all time — the Grinch. Sitting by a crackling fire, she appeared in full costume and flawlessly mimicked the character’s voice and exaggerated intonations made famous by Jim Carrey in *How the Grinch Stole Christmas*.
Halfway through the video, Celine added an extra layer of self-irony by suddenly breaking into the chorus of her hit *All By Myself*, turning the moment into a playful wink at her own legendary career.

Staying in character, she joked about being invited somewhere at the last minute, mock-complaining that even if she wanted to go, her schedule simply wouldn’t allow it. The punchline, of course, was that her schedule was hilariously overbooked.
She then launched into a rapid-fire list of “appointments,” Grinch-style: vocal exercises at four, waking the kids at 4:30, solving world hunger at five — “don’t tell anyone” — followed by Jazzercise, dinner with herself (non-negotiable), and battling creative ideas. According to Celine, she was completely booked.

The singer went on to joke that she *might* reschedule her creative ideas for later in the evening — leaving just enough time to lie in bed and endlessly scroll TikTok. Or, alternatively, to simply wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The video ended with another musical Easter egg, as Dion softly sang a line from *All By Myself*: “When I was young, I never needed anyone…,” sealing the moment with pure fan service.

For the skit, Celine went all in: green fur, a Santa-style Grinch outfit, bold makeup, and the character’s signature nose. The caption summed it up perfectly: “Silent night? Not on my watch…”
