“This Is Too Much”: Heidi Klum and Leni Klum Face Backlash Again Over Lingerie Campaign

Controversy has often followed Heidi Klum and her daughter Leni Klum, and this time proved to be just as headline-grabbing.

The 52-year-old supermodel and her 21-year-old daughter once again appeared together in a lingerie campaign, posing in soft pink sets from the brand’s spring collection. The images were polished, glamorous, and styled in signature fashion-advertising elegance.

But as soon as the photos went live, criticism followed.

While Heidi disabled comments on her own page, reactions flooded Leni’s account. Some users expressed discomfort over the mother-daughter dynamic in such an intimate setting. One comment bluntly stated that posing in lingerie with one’s mother was “disgusting,” regardless of beauty or professionalism.

This isn’t the first time the duo has faced backlash. They became the face of the brand back in 2022, just as Leni turned 18, and public debate has accompanied nearly every joint campaign since.

Despite the criticism, they’ve continued working together. At one point, even Heidi’s 80-year-old mother, Erna, appeared in a related campaign — though fully clothed.

Heidi Klum is the mother of Leni, whom she welcomed during her relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore. She later had three children with her ex-husband, musician Seal. In 2019, she found love again and married Tom Kaulitz, who is 17 years her junior.

Whether seen as bold empowerment or unnecessary provocation, one thing is clear: Heidi and Leni are not backing down.

And every new campaign guarantees one thing — the internet will have something to say.
