Ivanka Trump swapped polished outfits for a surfboard during a family vacation in Costa Rica, revealing a surprisingly adventurous side as she tested her skills on the waves.
The 44-year-old daughter of U.S. President Donald Trump was photographed balancing on a bright green board while an instructor watched closely from the water.
For the surfing session, Ivanka kept things practical in a white wetsuit top and black bottoms, with her hair pulled back into a long braid.
The photos show her successfully catching several waves and looking increasingly confident as she remained upright on the board. Judging by her expressions, she appeared to be thoroughly enjoying the challenge.
But not every attempt ended perfectly. At one point, Ivanka lost her balance and went straight into the ocean.
The fall didn’t appear to discourage her for long. She quickly recovered, climbed back onto the board and headed out to try again — making sure one wipeout wasn’t going to end her surfing adventure.
