Experts working at Canine Cottages conducted research recently which was aimed at elucidating the reactions of pets to different words of interaction with their owners, that is, with people. A group of dogs was selected for such an interesting test. All the participants were fitted with special devices that record their heart rate. These monitors were not removed for a week, and within seven days they managed to find out something interesting.

In a calm state the heart rate of the animals was 66-67 beats per minute. But when the owners told affectionate words of love to these pets, the pulse increased to 98 beats in one minute, that is, 46.2% more than the initial indicators.
And when dogs just saw their owners, their hearts began to beat faster by 10.4%. Moreover, at this time the animals did not move at all. During a pleasant pastime on the couch the pulse quickened by 22,7%.
And although the results of such an unusual study cannot be considered perfectly accurate and reliable, they made it possible to find out how important close contacts with people, especially with loved ones, are for our smaller brothers.
