It was nicknamed “Koki”. For some time it had been domestic but after being free for a very long time it eventually realized the fact that life is better in captivity. The animal itself went to people with a mute request for help and its main problem was the regrown wool. We have found some real pictures for our favorite readers. Here they are.

Koki is like an ex-domestic animal – traces of a rope noose were found on his neck. Apparently, once the ram got off the leash and fled into the wild, but after several years of wandering, it returned back to the people. Experts assumed that it had been wandering for four years. Koki escaped very young, but in the end it realized that as a representative of a domestic breed it was not trained to live in the wild. Its main problem was the excessive amount of its wool – the layer was 20 cm thick and it was half the weight of a ram!

Of course, Koki was not left in trouble, they gave ir something to drink, fed it, and then began the process of cutting. To be honest that was not the easiest thing to do. Then they calculated – the ram wore more than 20 kg of fleece and it was not easy for it. Koki’s face just shone with happiness when it was relieved of such a burden!

Now Koki will be taken care of and it will have a “socialization” session and will be sent to the rest of the lambs and sheep. In the meantime, the “shaggy” enjoys the conditions of quarantine at the animal nursery, where he is even fed with cookies!
