People most often pay attention to pretty, but even more often to flawed creatures. And the cat Leo is just such a cat that even his beloved owner admits it. She does not have the opportunity to help the pet, so the only thing left is to tell its story.
Meet Leo. Yes, unfortunately, it has a lot of problems.
A few years ago, a street cat came to the backyard of Jennifer’s house to give birth to a couple of kittens, one of which was Leo. Jennifer loves cats and wanted to help them, but it turned out exactly the opposite – the mother cat was scared and it constantly hid the kittens.

All its childhood is just one continuous stress. Malnutrition, beatings, fears and illnesses.
One of the likely reasons for the cat’s attitude towards a kitten is congenital deformity. Jennifer suspects genetic defects, but she is unable to carry out tests. And there is no desire either, because Leo is unlikely to be cured. Let it live like this.
And it also has many, many common illnesses – one will be cured, the other will appear.
Leo was only a couple of months old when its mother died. Jennifer caught the kitten and began to tame it.
Leo didn’t know what “socialization” was. For instance, it still does not know how to caress, because it had not been taught this.
Leo was very lucky that the neighbors had an older kitten called Molly. He took patronage over the poor kitten – without this help Jennifer would not have coped. Leo hardly understood what home life was, but it grew up a kind and naive cat during this time.
We may say that today Leo is doing better. It loves to hug the owner’s hand and purr in her palm for a long time.
