Lack of food and melting snow makes polar bears do incredible things. This bear traveled from Kara Sea to Norilsk, and it is more than 500 kilometres, as it was searching for food. According to witnesses the animal walked difficulty, it was clear immediately that it was very emaciated, because it didn’t show any aggression towards people.
She staggered, wondering in search of food from garbage to garbage. At the moment the animal was caught and she is now at the zoo, where they gave it veterinary care. Vets found, that the waste it ate damaged its bowel function, so to avoid stressing its digestive system, she was at first allowed to eat a little.
Workers of the zoo say, that when the bear will be completely recovered, they will return him to the nature. We want to believe, that there the baby will be able to properly eat, as it will be more simple for him to live in nature, than in the zoo.
