When the owner washes clothes the smell of a cat is washed off from them and in order to prevent other purring creatures from burrowing at the owner the cat has to lie down on fresh clothes every time thus leaving a specific mark on it.

Cats are very often left alone in the house while the owners go to work. After a while, the mustached curies begin to yearn for their loved ones and in order to somehow mitigate the temporary separation they just like to lay down on the owner’s things.
It’s all the fault of instincts
Cats equip their sleeping place for a long time and so did their ancestors trying to accept the grass in this way. That’s why the cats are happy to wrinkle the master’s clothes in order to take a good nap on a softer thing.

It’s not a secret that cats love stroking but if the owner isn’t at home and you want to lie on something soft then a warm jacket or pajamas that had accidentally been forgotten on the couch will work best for this purpose.
If a new object or thing appears in the apartment then the fluffy cutie will immediately go to investigate it. This also happens in the case of unfamiliar clothing.
