A mother pretending to be a man for 40 years for the sake of her daughter
The incredible story of this heroic woman proved that the pure and unconditional love of a mother towards her child is beyond everything and is often self-sacrificing. Today, we are going to tell about the heroic mother who pretended to be a man for decades for the sake of her girl and managed to work and support her family.
Soon after getting married at the age of 16, Sisy found out she was pregnant whereas a while before a tragic situation happened to Sisy. Her husband, regrettably, passed away and she was left completely alone. For the sake of her daughter, she pretended to be a man in order to ear living since at that time women had no right to work.
She took up a number of jobs. At first, the poor woman worked at a construction site and currently she is a worker at the train station. Though she eared very little, Sisy managed to build a house.
Sisy had to wear clothes for men and till today she has remained accustomed to it .
It is worth mentioning that in 2015, the government of Egypt honored her with “the perfect motherhood” award.
Despite being highly respected and praised, the woman still works, whereas now at her own kiosk for the sake of her daughter.
