Recently, Victoria Beckham paid tribute to these strong, almost family-like bonds when she attended Geri Halliwell’s 50th birthday celebration. Many fans know that Geri’s birthday is in early August.
Initially, Geri planned a big birthday party in early September, but after Queen Elizabeth’s passing, she no longer felt like hosting a large event.
Out of respect for the Queen – Geri and Victoria have always admired the royal family – she postponed the celebration to November.
The grand party finally took place on November 6, three months after her actual birthday.
However, Geri was able to gather her closest friends and former bandmates for the event.
Victoria Beckham shared photos from the celebration on social media, where she looked stunning in a sleek black dress with an open back.
Emma Bunton and Mel C also opted for all-black outfits.
Although Mel B didn’t appear in any of the photos, insiders say she was present at the party, meaning the entire Spice Girls group may have been reunited.
Fans couldn’t help but celebrate, as many still hope that one day the Spice Girls will perform together again, singing their biggest hits.
