The 67-year-old Hollywood actress opened up about her new chapter in life after becoming an empty nester. Sharon Stone revealed that with her three adopted sons now grown and living on their own, she has rediscovered a side of herself she had set aside for years.
For more than two decades, Stone avoided wearing feminine lingerie, choosing comfort and practicality while raising her boys — Roan, now 25, Laird, 20, and Quinn, 19. But today, she says she’s fallen back in love with sensual underwear and finally feels like a woman again.
“I used to wear boxer shorts because when you’re surrounded by so many guys, delicate lingerie just doesn’t happen. But now… I really do feel my femininity! I even let my hair grow out, and it feels amazing,” she shared during a candid conversation.
The actress also spoke about the painful loss of her mother, admitting it took her months before she could speak openly about it. She recalled with humor that her mother had a fiery personality, even in her final moments, leaving the family both laughing and crying.
Although their relationship had been complicated — Sharon was sent to work as a cleaner at just nine years old — she eventually reconciled with her mother before her passing at the age of 92.
Stone believes this new chapter, though bittersweet, has given her the freedom to reconnect with herself in unexpected ways.
