Marcelo “B-Boy” De Souza Ribeiro, a Brazilian artist covered head to toe in tattoos and extreme body modifications, has revealed his newest change — cutting off his index finger to make his hand look like an alien claw.
Known for his split tongue, metal teeth, and skin implants, Marcelo has already spent nearly £30,000 altering his body. In the past, he even split his hand in half, which he called a world first.
This time, he says he wanted his hand to appear “foreign” and more natural to his other modifications. After two weeks of planning, doctors removed the finger down to the wrist. The recovery was painful at first, but within six days he was back to writing, tattooing, and even playing the violin.
With over 1,500 tattoos, Marcelo always draws attention in public. People stop to take photos and videos, often amazed by his look. He admits the most painful modification was tattooing his ears, which burned for days after the procedure.
Despite criticism after seeing his previous look, Marcelo says he’s proud of his choices. His children and grandson accept his unique lifestyle, and he insists his transformation journey isn’t over yet.
