When Meghan Markle stepped out in Jordan alongside Prince Harry, the internet didn’t just see a diplomatic appearance — it saw déjà vu.
During their two-day visit to the Middle East, the Duchess of Sussex attended a World Health Organization roundtable wearing a cream double-breasted tweed blazer, layered over a simple top and paired with wide-leg trousers in the same soft shade. The look was polished, understated, and immediately familiar to royal watchers.

Online, comparisons to Princess Diana surfaced within hours. In July 1995, Diana had appeared in a strikingly similar ensemble — structured, neutral, quietly powerful. Side-by-side images quickly began circulating, with many pointing out the resemblance in silhouette and tone.
The visit went beyond official meetings. Following the WHO roundtable, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stopped by the QuestScope youth center inside a refugee camp. Later, joined by a WHO delegation, they toured a specialized hospital in Amman, where they met a 14-year-old patient from Gaza receiving care for burn injuries.

This isn’t the first time Meghan’s wardrobe has reignited Diana comparisons. Last year, she posted a video wearing a purple Northwestern sweatshirt — nearly identical to one Diana famously wore almost 30 years earlier. Before that, a purple dress paired with a bold red coat drew attention for echoing one of Diana’s standout color combinations from the late ’80s and early ’90s.
The couple’s trip to Jordan, which had not been disclosed beforehand, represented one of their earliest joint international outings since visiting Nigeria in May 2024 and Colombia in August 2024. They had also been spotted recently at the Invictus Games in Whistler, Canada.

The timing of their visit carried added significance, arriving just days after Prince Andrew, Harry’s uncle, was taken into custody on allegations of abuse of office linked to the Jeffrey Epstein case.
But in the middle of political headlines and humanitarian meetings, it was Meghan’s cream blazer that set social media alight — and once again, the conversation turned to Diana.
